Advanced settings

ArcGIS Enterprise Sites includes advanced settings that allow you to apply your organization's information banner to sites.

Add a logo

To add a logo to the sign-in prompt, ensure that the Anonymous access setting in ArcGIS Enterprise is enabled. The sign-in prompt adopts the logo and shared theme set in the organization's settings.

Enable information banners

An information banner is a thin bar that sits atop various places in ArcGIS Enterprise, including the Home, Gallery, and Map Viewer pages. ArcGIS Enterprise administrators can use an information banner to alert members of status updates and for other announcements. They can also use the Sites settings option to display this banner in ArcGIS Enterprise Sites.

Note:

To enable information banners for your organization, you must have a default Administrator role or have the administrative privilege assigned to your user role using Organization settings > Organization website > Manage the organization's website.

Default administrators can assign this privilege to members who have a custom role without giving them access to additional organization settings. For more information on configuring custom roles in ArcGIS Enterprise Sites, see Configure roles and privileges.

  1. Sign in to ArcGIS Enterprise Sites.
  2. On the Overview page, select Hub settings or Sites settings in the upper right corner.
  3. In the Information banner section, check the Display information banner across all sites and pages check box.
  4. Select Save.

The information banner is applied to all sites and pages.
