Localize Workflow Manager

Available with Workflow Manager license.

The ArcGIS Workflow Manager web app installed with Portal for ArcGIS includes language-specific resources that allow you to localize the user interface. Localized help documentation is available as a separate installation, which you download from My Esri. To learn how to localize the Workflow Manager web app, refer to the sections below.

The display language of the Workflow Manager web app is determined by the organization language. By default, the organization language is set to English. Individual members can set their own preferred language in their user profile. This allows users to override the organization language after they sign into the web app. The web app defaults to the organizational language for users who do not have an ArcGIS organizational account; they are not allowed to specify their own language.

To change the organization language, do the following:

  1. Sign into the organization website as a member with the default administrator role and click the Organization link on the top menu.
  2. Click Edit Settings > General.
  3. From the Language drop-down list, choose the desired language.
  4. Click Save.

Localize the help

The English help documentation for Workflow Manager is installed as part of the Portal for ArcGIS setup. To provide help in a language other than English, you must download and install the Portal for ArcGIS Help Language Pack from My Esri. The language pack contains help for Workflow Manager in the following languages: Chinese (Simplified Han), French, German, Japanese, Russian, and Spanish.
