Description: This layer shows the district boundaries of the Montana Senate for legislative elections held in the years 2014 through 2022. The boundaries are derived from 2010 Census Block boundaries provided by the Census Bureau and were created by the Montana Legislative Services Division for the Montana Districting and Apportionment Division, which adopted them on February 12, 2013.The layer contains names and contact information for the legislators that served in the 2015 session. It also contains the 2010 and 2000 populations of the districts, 2010 population broken down by age, the 2010 population of people who identified themselves as White only, and the number of occupied and vacant housing units in 2010. These data were added to the layer by the Montana Census and Economic Information Center.
